Food in Puerto Vallarta

We need some suggestions on where to eat in Puerto Vallarta. Maybe something close to the Krystal Hotel if there is anything in that area. Or should we just go back to the ship for lunch. Would that waste too much time?

I have been to Puerto Vallarta and there is a great restaurant called La Palapa that is on the beach near the south area of the Malecon. There is another cool place about a 30 minute taxi ride south of town called chico's paradise that is this big palapa in the jungle next to a river and you throw pesos into the water and little kids dive off of these large rocks into the pools after them.

We went to Chico's as well and it was fantastic! A beautiful location. Take your swimsuit and towel and you can swim in the rock pools. Food was great too!
