theverro Posted February 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2012 Howdy, was able to find the menu for the Margaritaville at Grand Turk (via the m-ville website) but of course they don't list any prices.. Good marketing move on their part i suppose...:D Anyhow, noticed that they offer the good ol' buckets of beer.. Says "buckets of beer (6) + 1 free".. Anyone know what these might go for?? Thanks
m steve Posted February 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2012 but be sure to bring buckets of money as their prices are high for food and drinks.
kcparrothead Posted February 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2012 I read a review from a year ago and she said a Corona was $9.00 @ Margaritaville and a Turks Head (local) Beer was $5.00 @ Jack's Shack.

starchild65 Posted March 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2012 We just got back from our cruise that stopped at Grand Turk (or is it Grand Turkey) and a bucket of beer at Margartitaville is more expensive than on the ship. I believe it was $31 or $32 for a bucket, and mixed drinks were just as expensive or more expensive than on the ship. We were disappointed with Grand Turk and found it to be a glorified private island with tourist shops. Would have rather spent more time in the "real" ports of St Thomas and St Marteen. Well, if you were just in Buffettown, you didn't venture out to the "real' island. Next time, if you decide to give it anothe rtry, rent a bicycle, scooter, golf cart, jeep and drive up tot he lighthouse, or book a snorkeling run with a locla boat. starchild65 Posted March 11, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2012 I agree. We didn't do a lot of research on grand turk before we left. We did a shore excursion booked through the ship (which was a mess) and that left us with little time. When we got back we just walked through the shop area. Next time we are there we are just going to go out on our own. Maybe check out Jack's that everyone talks about on these boards. Cheers!
