insurance-does it cover the flight and cruise

i bought my mom and sis manulife insurance (we are in toronto) and im wondering would the medical portion of it cover the entire trip including flight and cruise. how does your insurance work and what does it cover??

It depends of the effective dates that you put the policy.

I buy the trip cancellation policy as soon as I buy the non refundable airfare. The would be enough to cover the airfare and cruise fare. Medical I buy to cover 2 days before departure to the day after arrival.

I'm a Canadian and buy insurance to cover us fully before and during the cruise . Question: Why did you buy manualife ? Most TA's in Canada consider it one of the worst companies to deal with and most expensive products.
