? re: last minute price drop & credit

I am not 100% sure, but if the category you booked is no longer available you would not have a price to compare the price you paid to. For example I booked an 8C and on my sailing there are only 8C's left in the cat. 8 cabins. However the cost has gone up $200pp since we booked. Now if I were in an 8D I don't think it would make a difference since my category would be no longer available and Carnival would not give me a credit since that particular category is sold out. I hope that makes since. Hopefully someone who has been in your position will post.

Good luck to you and have a great cruise.

Probably no chance of a credit, unless it's significant. ($75 pp or more) Odds are better for an upgrade of some sort.

we've all ready been assigned a cabin (found out using the methods on here, AND the number was printed on our docs)...is there still a chance of an upgrade?

thanks!
