Snorkeling

Enjoy a 3-hour snorkel cruise that gives you the chance to marvel at the beauty of Aruba's Coastline and the riches of underwater Aruba. The perfect combination of wind, sun and sailing makes this a fun and relaxing trip at the same time. After some smooth sailing, the first stop will be at Boca Catalina for some great reef snorkeling. As the depth will be around 15 feet, it is the perfect place to refresh or learn snorkeling skills.

The second stop will be at the famous "Antilla" shipwreck. A remnant of World War II, the "Antilla" was scuttled by its own captain, to prevent it from being captured by the Dutch Marines. Today it lies on its side in 60 feet of water. Voted as one of the World's Top 10 Dive and Snorkel sites, seeing the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean will be an experience you won't forget. Your snorkleing adventure will be followed by a relaxing sail back to the cruise terminal with unlimited Rum Punch, juices and soda's accompanied by recorded music.

Are these two locations good for snorkeling or should we go see the island on a site seeing trip and save the snorkel time for Curacao?

Thank you,

Debbie

Terrain, flora and fauna are the same in Curacao and Aruba. Aruba is much easier to see because it is a smaller island.

The snorkeling in Curacao is MUCH MUCH better than Aruba.

Aruba's Antilla wreck is a great dive, but not so much snorkeling. It is in 60+ feet of water and the visibility from the surface will only permit you about 20 ft from the surface at the most.

Thank you,

The places of interest on the itinerary are the Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, Natural Bridge and the Rock Formations. There will be many photo stops during the tour and you also get to see the Island's beautiful beaches. The tour is roughly 3 hours long with Sonny Binns....

How does this sound??

Debbie
