Cruise leaves on Sunday - AOS!!! Maybe book another on board???

Recommended Posts

As of 3pm tomorrow, I am officially on vacation! I will not have to be back to work until Tues. March 13th.....

We booked this trip last April right after our Disney vacation and to me, half the experience is the countdown!

We get to leave early Sat. morning to head to Puerto Rico for the night and on Sunday...hello Adventure of the Seas!!!!

Anyone else close to their sailing????

I am trying to convince DH to book another cruise for our family of 4 while on board....tell me how this works!

Thanks!

Go to the Loyalty Ambassador office and tell them you want to book a cruise. You can either book a specific cruise or tell them you want a NextCruise certificate which will let you decide later.

The deposit will be 100.00 per person and you will get OBC of which amount will depend on the number of nights your next cruise is. 7 night cruise will get you 100.00 OBC.

If you choose a specific cruise while on board, your deposit will be refundable if you have to cancel. If you choose a NextCruise certificate, the deposit is NOT refundable if you cancel.

I have probably left out some minor details of which someone will fill in what I have missed :)

Enjoy your vacation!

Yes, I am just as close to sailing as you are. We're both on the same trip. ;)

I am so so happy for you! We did back to back feb 5 and 12th. did not want to get off that ship!!!

hope you get to see the two gentlemen from spain who have been onboard since the Adventure came back from Spain and will be going home with the ship in April on the transatlantic! They have second seating dinner on deck three and each nite wear a different outfit to dinner. Well actually a costume time outfit and lookout formal nights! They are a sight to see.

We loved this ship and loved the ports so much we came home and changed our Allure and Independence sailings for next year to another b2b in feb on the adventure. Go see Julio in Loyal office on Deck 6. He will take excellent care of you. We also got two more next cruise certs to use for the future. Our family wants to do Alaska when the next schedule comes out so we will be using them!!!

We were very impressed with this crew. We love the Explorer and have crew members on there who are like family. This ship is a sister to the Explorer and let me tell you the crew is so awesome. In our 26 cruises this was the best experience and we have been on the Allure twice and the Oasis.

Have a wonderful time.

How long do you have to book the next cruise if you get a next cruise certificate? is there a retirement to actually take the cruise by a certain time?

No expiration on the certificate. We actually do two....just put one name on each one. Everyone that is in your cabin is entitled to the 100 deposit. The obc is per cabin only and depends on your booking....how many night cruise you choose.

The names of everyone in your cabin will go on the booking when you figure out when you want to go.

We were on the Adventure 2 years ago and while we would have liked to have tried a different ship, we are happy to be back on the AOS...we had a GREAT time last time and met so many great people and crew!

So if my husband and I get the certificates or whatever for another cruise, we don't have to pick a specific one? And it doesn't even have to be next year? And if we add our two kids later, we would still only pay that $100 pp deposit??

Thanks for all the great info!

I saw those 2 guys on someone elses review so now I will be keeping my eye out for them!!!

We saw Julio to book on the 2/5 sailing too but booked for Brilliance for next February-we love AOS but wanted different ports-make sure to stop and sign the book and make an appointment-after Wednesday spots filled up

Yes the two Men from Spain are a sight to see-he owned a casino and sold it and will not fly so they are sailing for 6 months--very artistic-(maybe that's not the word!) I would love to see how much luggage they have --everything matches from hats to shoes to "the purse"

Emerson Thomas was our room steward-he was great--very good trip all around

Have fun

Just do not wait until Friday to book your next cruise. Appointments fill up so get your next in the book early!

Blacksheep we are also booked on the Brilliance for next year. We just got off the AOS and loved it but thought we would try the Brilliance next. We booked the 2/23/13 sailing and love the looks of the itinerary.

So where do I go to do this?? I figure I will just head down there the day we get on the ship. We will be at port early enough since we are going to be staying overnight in San Juan...although, it's probably a mad house right??

Normally you make an appointment with the booking agent for a later day, that way you aren't stuck waiting and waiting. Have fun!

It is a great ship and great crew, the 2 gentleman are very nice, i think the word is theatrical. They were agreeable to pictures by everyone, and said they will be on again next year. We would love to go back next year. I had very severe post cruise depression coming off of my one week..
