Under the galley of freedom

We paid a little more pp to be on the main deck. Just looked at deck plans and we are right under the galley. Will this be an issue with noise, carts rolling etc at all hours? My son and I are light sleepers. Any prior experience would be appreciated.:)

How much more do you have to pay to get a different cabin? I would see if that is possible, if not, bring earplugs!

 

I am not sure about under the galley but we were under the Lido one time and the chairs sliding was bad enough.

I was in room 2363 on the freedom - under the galley. I never heard a thing.

Friends of ours were under the galley on another cruiseline and were often awakened by the sound of dropped pots, pans, utensils, etc. overhead. :eek:

 

I think theirs was a rare experience, though.

I've been under the galley on every one of my 4 cruises and haven't ever heard a thing.
