I'm going to the mediterranean with my mom on May 21, as anybody else going at this time?:)

My husband, myself, and our 19 year old son are sailing on the Magica on May 21. We are meeting a German family who is sailing the next day out of Savona. Their son was a foreign exchange student at my son's High School last year, so it is a reunion with him and a chance to meet his family. This is the first time anyone in my family has cruised, so I am on this site trying to get any information and guidance available.

This is our first time on a cruise as well. I'm taking my mother for a belated mother's day gift from all her kids. We are leaving form Toronto and then staying an extra night afterwards in Rome to explore. I've been told it will be fun and relaxing at the same time.
