Tender or Docked

I have never known a Disney ship to tender to Nassau, always docking. This doesn't mean it can't happen at almost any port due to scheduling issues with berths, construction, etc. That in mind in scores of cruises on multiple lines I can't ever remember not docking in Nassau.

Where does the Fantasy dock in San Juan?

San Juan is a new port for DCL; they don't start going there for a few more months. So, at this point it's anybody's guess exactly where they will dock/anchor.

Does the Disney Dream dock or tender in Nassau? Does the Disney Fantasy dock or tender in St. Thomas and San Juan?

Thanks for any information.

We docked in St. Thomas last month, but I don't believe that's always the case. There was only 1 other ship that came in after us.

I have been to St. Thomas and Nassau several times and have never tendered in. But like someone else said, if there are too many ships waiting to get in, some may have to tender.

As for San Juan, when I get home from the Nov 3 cruise, I'll drop a note as to where we docked. Hopefully, in Old San Juan docks which are closest to the shopping.
