Have tenders been making it?

I'm not a cruiser but do live on the island and see the ships have been making it in most every day.

Today the wind is whistling through my windows on the east end of the island and the seas are rough as anything.... but over on the west side where the cruise ships arrive the seas are calm in the lee of the island and the ships are in. port.

We were just there on the 8th of March. It had been really windy for days before and the ship cancelled their Stingray tours the night before because of it. Alas, the tendering still went on as planned and all was good. Private Stingrays tours were still a go and people were not happy who booked with ship.

We were there on March 5th. Very windy, but there were 4 ships docked. Our Snorkel excursions were cancelled due to the wind, so we just walked around town, shoppped, and had lunch at the Hard Rock.

We were there March 14 with 5 other ships. No problem with the etnders. Saw a very long tender line for Carnival. May have been everybody trying to get the last tender. We returned to Celebrity Equinox early and got right onto a tender.
