I have never cruised Royal before and on the Oasis in May and was wondering what would be the best time for a flight out of Ft.Lauderdale is a 9:40am flight wise or not..... always be out of Port Canaveral and always had flights in the afternoon but with airport 5min from port is an AM flight wise or not ?????

Port Everglades to FLL is about a 15 minute/$15+tip cab ride, but there's lots of folks trying to get off at the same time - bags, customs, immigration, all take time. I would not book anything earlier than 11:00 AM (you need to be at FLL by 9:30 to make it through TSA :(), and closer to noon is better. :cool:
