CherieB Posted April 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2005 This morning (4/22) on the Today Show they told how bed bugs can be carried from your motel in your luggage or in your own pillow etc. So if you stay in a motel the night before your cruise, YES you can take bed bugs onboard with you so it does not always mean the ship is at fault if one does have this problem. If you stay in a motel after the cruise you can take bugs home with you :p
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Check out the cruisejunkie website about RCI and a couple of claim they got bitten by bed bugs while on a cruise. They have also been on some of the TV stations.

Guest nhrich Posted April 23, 2005 #6 Share Posted April 23, 2005 Since all we've heard about is one cabin on each of the affected ships, I suspect that they were brought on by the passengers (unintentionally, of course). Doesn't sound to me like an outbreak on the ships. Rich, ACC Carefree Vacations
