Authentic dutch stuff

Are there many shops in the shopping area that have authentic dutch merchandise, or is it mostly caribbean style stuff? Would love some stroopwaffles and dropjes!!

After reading the boards for the last 2 weeks trying to plan port excursions, I am getting a little lazy. Do you know where I can find out the current cost of a wheel of gouda on the island? I would like to see if it is cheaper than here. Thanks!

I just responded to your other thread regarding the cheese ($36US for 10 lb. wheel).

The shop where I buy the cheese will have stroopwafels and also a good selection of Droste Chocolate. However, I think the Droste was a little over priced. Just do some homework before you go.

 

I haven't checked for a local grocery store in SM., but you could ask some of the locals at the pier for directions.
