I posted this on the ports of call board but no one answered. Can anyone tell me about how many steps are here? Are they narrow, winding steep etc. Thanks

You're not going to get in with a scooter etc, but easy enough to walk through the caves.

Pia was right there are 49 steps, they are a little narrow, not too steep and do wind but there are at least 2 landings that you could catch your breath and the climb up the steps is relatively easy. There are also a couple of steps inside but nothing major.
