Herbaltees Posted March 7, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2012 For all my CC Gamblers: What was your biggest take on a cruise? Cruise line/ Game and Amt. (I hope this will be a fun thread)
jnv412 Posted March 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2012 I'm sure this is probably nothing compared to what some of you have probably won, but hubby and I were very happy to walk away with about $500 from the Fun 21 table. It's a variation of blackjack where they take out the queens. Odds are different but you are offered other perks.

misstopgun Posted March 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted March 7, 2012 About 4 years ago out of Galveston there was a sign up for drawing later that night for spa packages, gift baskets ect. in the casino. We all signed up and came back at 9 pm for the drawing. While waiting for the drawing to begin I put $20 in a nickle poker machine. I don't play slots often and this was some sort of progressive machine that kept asking if I wanted to douple up, triple up. I had no clue what I was doing so just kept hitting yes. All of a sudden everything starts lighting up and my SIL gets really excited. I see it is telling me I won a X amount of coins but being a nickle machine and not concentrating on the math, I assumed it might be a couple hundred $ and wondered how long I would have to wait before the attendant came over. It turned out to be $1,500. When I found out the amount I said 'damn" much to my SIL's surprise. She asked what the problom was. I told her if it had been under $1,200 I wouldn't have had to pay taxes on it. She thought I had lost my mind. Trust me though, I have put back that $1,500 many times overs on cruises since then. rdrseller Posted March 7, 2012 #10 Share Posted March 7, 2012 Many years ago and I think it was on the Holiday, I dropped one single dollar coin in a machine (yes, before you did it with your sail and sign) and hit the big one..... Unfortunately, I had only dropped 1 coin in and got $500 would have been a whole lot more, it I had been betting all 3. But hey...it was a win. Like a previous poster...I have long given that back and much much more...hahahaha

okwriter Posted March 8, 2012 #12 Share Posted March 8, 2012 $1,100 on the Legend on a $1 slot machine on the last sea day. I'm usually a penny slot player but DH heard that someone else had won on that $1 machine earlier in the week. I sat down and put in $20 and he encouraged me to max bet ($3). A few spins later, it went to some kind of wheel bonus and showed I won $1,100! Being a penny slot player, it took a bit for it to sink in how much it was! :)

cccer Posted March 8, 2012 #22 Share Posted March 8, 2012 On first cruise, hit royal flush and won $1,000 (not since). Best table win was playing three card poker $5 a bet and was down to last 25 so I played $15 on pair plus bet and got a straight flush. Paid over $600, it was the last day of the cruise so I did not have time to give it back. That was nice.
