mrgame101 Posted March 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Hopefully someone can put my mind at east. We returned on the Paradise in Tampa on Jan 23rd. As Green Card holders we were required to go to the Lounge early on arrival and had to show our Green Cards. They were never scanned by anyone on the ship, or when we left. Should I be worried that our arrival into the US was not recorded? And its not that its just us, no Immigration official had a computer or anything to scan anyone's documents. Did they scan your green cards when you checked in at the pier on embarkation day? Anne

Mark+Anne Posted March 8, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2012 I am a green card holder also, so definitely understand your concern. I would probably call immigration and ask for advice - just to be on the safe side! Anne
mrgame101 Posted March 8, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Yes I plan on doing that! The Port of Tampa office does not open until 830. I am sure it must record as my FIL is a GC holder and cruises out of Tampa all the time and hes never had any issues. But better to be safe! mrgame101 Posted March 8, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Spoke to CBP and they said not to worry as everything gets recorded from their automated lists the ship have to send in before arrival. Understood my concern and said no one's ever asked that question before!
