Current Cruise Directors (CD) List - UPDATED

These emails are notoriously inaccurate. I don't put much faith in them.

 

Of course, anything can happen, and things can change. But....

 

 

Allan has been the regular CD of Allure, alternating with Ken Rush. There has been no word that this schedule will be changing.

 

Ricky Matthews usually alternates with Amy Fickert on Oasis, and he has confirmed that he'll be covering her next break. Amy will probably still be on Oasis for your cruise on 3/9, as her contracts are usually 4 months long and she started December 1.

 

 

 

 

Ken's contracts are usually 4 months long too, so chances are that he will be your CD on Allure on March 10.

Hi Donna, I will be on Oasis March 9th and will let you know who the CD is. We will be in a suite so I might be able to find out from the concierge in advance of our arrival. If I find out transition dates as well I will keep you posted.

 

I am hoping Allan Brooks would be filling in for a few weeks since Ricky has been going full speed ahead. If Ricky doesn't get a break I think he would disappear to nothing. I need his diet program. Since Allan has off since mid-January he could fill in for 2 or 3 weeks.

 

That all being said, like you stated, these emails can be inaccurate. Not to mention Allan switching ships is out of the norm. I do like him though and my DW says he is easy on the eyes.

I received an email from RCCL stating that Allan Brooks would be the CD on the 3/9/13 sailing of the Oasis of the Seas. Can anyone confirm this?

Just off the Oasis and "Less-than-awesome-Amy", as she came to be known, didn't impress. She's far too, I don't even know the word, juvenile?

 

The fellow I really liked was the Activities Manager, whose name of course escapes me right now. He's a high energy Brazilian fellow, very quick on his feet. I thought he was able to have fun with guests during events and shows without mocking or insulting like Amy resorts to.

My DF just returned from a great 9 day sailing aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. John Blair was our CD and I heard a rumor this morning that John will be joining the Explorer of the Seas sometime after Enchantment of the Seas begins its 3 & 4 day sailings. Can anyone confirm this rumor? John did a great job aboard the Enchantment and wouldn't mind seeing him again when we sail aboard the Explorer this coming summer.

Interesting! Leigh Xuereb has just been appointed the regular CD on Explorer since Richard Spacey has moved over to Freedom. It is possible that John Blair will be alternating with Leigh, to cover his breaks, but not likely, as John is usually a regular CD too. We shall see!

I can't think of a female CD who would be ranked second. The top five or higher are all males.

 

Just speculating, but could it be Clo O'Connor coming back for a short contract to fill in between Anthony and Drew?
