Conflicting info on tripadvisor. Does anyone know if there are somewhat affordable restaurants that you can walk to from the hotel? Know the hotel restaurants are expensive and want to make sure we can easily eat somewhere else.

Thanks!!

Hi there! The closest place for food is Subway, which is right on the corner of the hotel. If you don't mind about a 10-15 minute stroll, Ashford Avenue is pretty close by. This avenue is full of shops and boutiques, as well as as restaurants. It's a nice walk across a bridge (to the left when you exit the hotel grounds). Ashford is full of nice restaurants, and some are moderately priced. We enjoyed di Parma Trattoria (excellent pizza), and Cafe de Angel (Puerto Rican food). There's also a Chinese food restaurant with good food, and I think we saw a Chili's there too. I think the walk and dinner would be a nice way to spend the evening.
