Hi all,

Just booked the Oasis for next month. Very excited!

We are flying in the night before. Need a hotel with free shuttle from FLL to Hotel. And if possible, the morning of the flight, they provide a free shuttle from the Hotel to Port Everglades.

Any advise would be great!

Thansk!

We are staying at the Best Western Plus Ft Lauderdale airport/port hotel on W. State Road in Ft. Lauderadale. They provide shuttle from the FLL airport to the hotel and have a service that provides a shuttle to the port. Have stayed their before...Nice rooms for a nice price. Hope this helps. :)

Last year, we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Hollywood. They came and picked us up at the airport the day before the cruise, then took us to the port on the morning of the cruise. It is a nice hotel with a beautiful pool. They were very friendly and organized with the shuttles and the shuttles were free (you should tip the driver of course).

Our favorite hotel in the area is Embassy Suites. Besides it being a gorgeous property, they have free breakfast and free evening happy hour, and free internet kiosks in their lovely atrium lobby. Their customer service was exempliary. We had stayed there pre-cruise, and then got stranded after the cruise because hurricane Irene cancelled our flight home. We showed up again, without a reservation, and they not only accomodated us, but gave us early check in and late departure without extra charge, and allowed us to partake in their free breakfast and their happy hour appetizers on those days too (before check in time, and after check out time).

They do not have a free shuttle, but it was really no problem getting a taxi from the airport to the hotel ($12). The hotel had a shuttle for $7pp to the ship, but we are 4 people so we asked them to call us a cab because it would be much cheaper, so they lowered the price of the shuttle to $5 pp. (Still more than a taxi would have been, but what's a couple of dollars for convenience.

We stayed at The Hampton Inn Airport/North Cruiseport in November and are staying again in April before our next cruise. They have a free shuttle from airport to hotel and to the cruiseport the next morning. Decent complimentary breakfast buffet. Nice staff, clean rooms, across the road from a shopping plaza with a WinnDixie, liquor store, a few restaurants etc. We would recommend it.
