You have the option to pre-pay before your cruise. They are added to your S&S account for your convenience. You can back your S&S card with cash when you check-in, if you're not using a credit card.

You can prepay your tips. I highly recommend it. It goes to the wait staff & room attendants. Nothing to worry about on board.:D

How do we go about doing the prepaid? I don't see anything in the manage my cruise section on Carnival that shows it as an option. We definitely want to make sure the crew get our monetary thanks!

You may have to call now if you booked with CCL or a PVP. Call your TA if you used one. I clicked on prepay during the booking process.

It can be done through the Bon Voyage Department 1-800-906-7603 ... I believe it is done via a "coupon" or something like that (I know you have to have your booking # and the amount you want to put on there - and it can only be done with a credit/debit card).

If you don't pre-pay, the tips are charged on the second night.

 

If you pre-pay, you can't decide to take them off once you get on the ship, though I'm sure they will let add more!
