sharecruises Posted March 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Hi someone was kind enough to post this in another thread.. I have been looking at it and can't really figure it out http://metro.kingcounty.gov/tops/bus/area_maps/m_seattle-rfa.html how does this work please? QQQQQQQQQQ I am staying at Quality Inn and Suites near Seattle Center it looks like we could walk over there and get the Metrorail down to the "downtown" area....would that be Westlake or ? is that the best way to get to Pike Place? thanks
mapleleaves Posted March 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2012 yes, you can walk to the Seattle Center and catch the Monorail to Westlake, then walk 3 blocks to the Market. http://www.seattlemonorail.com/index.php
Dan G Posted March 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2012 your hotel is well outside the 'free ride' zone however anything in downtown is basiclly in the zone so once you take the monorail in you can get around pretty easy. You might want to look on tripadvisor.com Seattle forum. On top right is a one day itinerary without a car, starting at the space needle.
