Eastern Caribbean Cruise

I am cruising on a Eastern Caribbean cruise with stops in St Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau. Any one have any ideas as to what to do in these ports? Which are good for beach days, and which are good for excursions? What types of excursions? Any ideas are appreciated.

Hi there...

You will be able to get TONS of information on the Ports of Call Boards here on Cruise Critic.. just go to the main menu!

St. Thomas is one of our favorites. We have toured with Sunny Liston twice.. tours include a stop in town, tour of the Island and a two hour beach break. The beaches are wonderful here. My husband and boys last time took a ferry to St. John to spend the entire day at Trunk Bay... he said it was the most gorgeous beach.

Have fun doing your research!

This is one of our favorite itineraries! You will have a ball. Enjoy your cruise. :D

St Thomas - Sunny Liston or Helmet Trek @ Coral World. Don't forget the Belgian Chocolate Shop.

Antigua - We did the Luxury Catamaran thru Carnival & <3 it!

Tortola - Definitely the Baths

Nassau - Blue Lagoon

Oh yeah, don't forget the sunscreen and REAPPLY! lol! I got an awful sunburn since there are beautiful beaches at all of these ports.

We did the Godfrey tour which is two hours of shopping, two hours of touring, and two hours at the beach. He dropped some of us off at Megan's Bay and Coki Beach. ( You may want only to shop and tour ) Different packages are available for $30. Well worth it! Godfrey is very knowledgable. A great tour. Loved Mountain top! He makes many stops so you can get some beautiful views and pictures of the island!

Sunny Liston's tour on St. Thomas was the highlight of our cruise last year. I can't recommend him highly enough.

We're doing the same route as you are in November, we're just hitting beaches in Antigua and Tortola.

In Nassau, we've booked a catamaran snorkel excursion through Flying Cloud charters.

we're doing the same itinerary the end of this month....we're not shoppers we go for the beaches. After ALOT of research here and Trip Advisor we have chartered two day sails; St Thomas to St John and Tortola to JVD. Antigua we are doing day passes at Jolly Beach Resort and Nassau we are doing Arawak Cay for the fish fry. As others have posted check out ports of call and your roll call boards to find what is out there.

Totally agree on Tortola. The Baths in Virgin Gorda is one of the most impressive spots in the Caribbean.

Another vote for Godfrey. The tour without the beaches is only $25.00. You do get to stop at Magens and Coki for pictures even if you are not staying there. He provides free pop and water d to drink ( plenty of it )
