Can anyone tell me a bit about where one docks in Rouen. Is it near the tourist areas? Is it within walking distance of the city center and cathedral? If so, how long a walk? Any info on this port is appreciated. THX

I was in Rouen a few years ago. As I recall, it is not in walking distance of the port. You have to take a bus to get there. The tourist area is compact and walkable - the cathedral, an old street, and a square where there is a memorial to commemorate the site where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake.
