Wine Package on Celebrity Eclipse

Please advise if the Wine Packages offered on Celebrity applies on Eclipse

& if it is worthwhile.We are not great drinkers but the deal looked quite good.We have many cruises under our belts,but have always bought our wine when we felt like it.We found 3 bottles per 14 day cruise was enough

You need to compare what you would spend for the drinks versus the cost of the package. For some it is a great deal, for others a waste of money.

Just checked the prices for Eclipse wine package, Feb 2013. It averages with gratuity to $40 per bottle, or around $8 per glass. A year ago we could buy wine without the package on Equinox for $25 plus gratuity. Also we recently took Royal Caribbean cruise and the wine on a package price averaged at $25. Seems to me the Eclipse is way too much and you could do as well or better without it.
