Equinox cabin 9234 or 9218

DH and I are planning a B2B cruise next January, we have option of both these cabins and I have done some research and only really come up with a couple of comments that do not give me enough info. I believe 9234 is near a crew area while 9218 has cabins opposite but is further forward. Anyone with any comments on the crew area, how near 9234 it is and will it be noisy?

We were recently on the Equinox and found the cabin very quiet - no sounds from other cabins, the hall or slamming doors. I would definitely go with closer to the elevators. Getting from place to place can be quite a hike!

Personally I would go for 9234. It has the bed by the bath configuration, and it is closer to the aft set of elevators where most of the action takes place -- Up to the buffet/lawn club, down to all the dining and martini bar.

I don't think you will be bothered by the crew area. I think they took that into consideration when they designed these ships. Your door is pretty thick and insulated from noise.
