Millennium's best balcony cabins?

We, DW and I, are new to Celebrity and trying to decide on a balcony cabin ("Deluxe Ocean View" or "Concierge Class"). We will be cruising after the upcoming Solticizing.

Are there "hidden gems", especially in terms of additional size?

From current the deck plans, I'm intrigued by the cabins whose balconies appear to be larger and offer a forward view (8161, 8146, 7171, 7174, 7163, 7166). Are the cabins any bigger or is it just the balcony that's different?

There are four Concierge Class cabins that look significantly larger (6143, 6144, 6135, 6136). I notice that they adjoin suites and wonder what considerations that raises?

Thanks for your information.

Best cabins are concierge class aft balconies - the biggest balconies. Next best are the ones you named above.

6144/45 are the largest cabins with larger balconies in the CC class. They are adjacent to a Sky Suite on one side and a butler's pantry on the other. There is no connecting door in the cabin. This part of the ship is exceptionally quiet.

6135/36 are a tad smaller. These cabins do have a connecting door to the suites. These are the closest to midships of all the cabins you inquired about. They are still aft of the central elevators.

We have had 6144 on a sister ship and have visited 6136 daily on a two week cruise.

The forward view cabins you mentioned are part of the Sweet Sixteen. The cabins are the same size but the balconies are larger.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the information, especially about the area being quiet. I was a little concerned about being above the MDR.

Yes; thanks.

Even though you probably weren't looking at this cabin initially, stay away from 9034. We were just on it the other week and there was always noise from above (rolling towel carts in the T-pool area I'm guessing).

6148 has my vote for best balcony on the Millennium (though 6147 would pretty much be a tie). Massive balcony and nice furniture.

Even a large jacuzzi tub:

Great master bathroom too:

Deck 6 CC Cabins: 6143 & 6144 are better than 6135 & 6136- 43 &44 are further down into "suite land" (quieter) and 35 &36 are opposite the crew work station area. In addition 43 & 44 are non-adjoining cabins.

As Alcpa1 explained, 6143 & 6144 adjoin a "butler pantry" which is located just forward of these rooms between them and the Royal suite. The deck plan seems to show this pantry as part of the CC rooms....but the rooms are not as big as shown on the plan. This pantry area is not an issue as it's just used for storage.

PS: We have stayed in both 6143 & aft CC deck 7. Would definately book deck 7 or 8 aft over 6143/44. But all are great cabins! Don't know if I would pay for a CC1 for 6135 or 36 nor for Aft deck 9 (too close to the bar above)

Enjoy!
