Island Princess - PS vs. VS suites?

Hi!

Can someone familiar with PS and VS suites on the Island Princess tell me what the differences are? It seems like they are identical in size and layout, yet the PS is priced higher.

Thanks!

We have been in both the PS and VS suites on the Island and Coral. The only difference we noticed was that the PS had an uncovered balcony, and the VS balcony was covered. If you are sailing somewhere with rain, like Alaska, you might want to choose the VS. If you like lots of sunshine, then the PS would suit you better.

Whichever you choose, it will be wonderful!

We Stayed in both of these suites but on the Coral. The Rooms themselves are identical. However on the VS the balcony is covered and on the PS the balcony is uncovered save for about a 2 foot strip right by the sliding glass doors.
