CarolRoy Posted March 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2012 Has anyone been to Cabbage Beach lately? Do you have any pictures showing the erosion? Been there last May 2011 and going again on Carnival Miracle on May 3, 2012. May 2011 there was a drop you had to go down before you got on the beach and the water was too rough to go in. Or would anyone else suggest a different beach. Carol 2012 – Carnival Miracle – April – E. Caribbean 2012 – Carnival Conquest – Feb. – W. Caribbean 2011 – Westerdam HAL – Dec. – E. So far this season, I haven't heard of any further damage.. but I'm not o the island right now. ( I left before spring break and will return once all the ruckus is over. ) This damage has caused serious rip tides recently and drop offs to the entire beach.. something that only mother nature can fix. Man has damaged the natural schema of things with construction and dredging, and nature has been fighting back. If new damage occurs in the coming weeks.. I'll post its. Right now.. it's stilll status quo
