Question for recent Mexico cruisers...

We're sailing on DCL out of San Pedro (berth 93 I think) in July and my question is regarding passports/birth certificates. It's my understanding when you disembark there are two immigration/customs line...one for those holding passports and one for those holding birth certificates (BC). I understand the passport line moves quicker than the BC line because less people have passports right now. My question is, my DH and I both have passports but our two boys (3 and 7) do not....does anyone know, since the adults have passports can we all go in the passport line even though the boys don't or would we all have to go in the BC line? I was hoping to avoid getting them passports this year...trying to keep expenses down.:D

Thanks in advance!

Lisa
