NCMtnBoys Posted April 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2012 We did a Rick Steves walking tour which hit all the major mosaic sites. Or you could plan to take an excursion to either San Marino or Bologna.
Courier95 Posted April 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Does anyone know if there is a charge for the shuttle bus to the town? We are sailing with Celebrity.

CCJack Posted April 7, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 7, 2012 On rci there was a charge, but you could purchase in advance at excursions desk or through your cabin tv. I think out was about $10pp. You cannot walk it so this is a good buy. I would go to the 2 or 3 most beautiful churches and skip the rest. Some are not nearly as impressive as the others. Then stop for some ice cream or snack and head back to the ship early. Note there were lines for the shuttle bus back but they were not too bad. Another reason to head back early.
