We just received confirmation that they have greatly reduced our port times and cruising Hubbard glacieris now 8-9 instead of 9-2.
we do not arrive in Juneau until 3:00 P.M. instead of 10:00Am, Skagway is now 8-5 instead of 9-11
Now they are saying if we cancel there will be a penalty. what can I do?

I'm also on the 9/3 cruise. Were there any reasons given?? I don't understand how they know at
this time that changes are necessary.

They say that it could be for "safety" or the amount of ships in the same port. Why they didn't know this earlier I do not know, I called and spoke to Andrea at Celebrity and their response is that itineries are subject to change and they will not do anything to correct it. Their attitude is "go ahead cancel" So I will be calling the other members in my group and probably doing that.

I am going on that cruise on 08/06/04 and noticed the same thing!!!!!! What is the deal????

Whoever told you that you will have a penalty if you cancell now is absolutly incorrect. You are not even close to when the penalty period begins.
