PistonsFan Posted April 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2012 We are taking the Carnival Legend next February and my son will not quite be 8. All of the Carnival excursions say that you must be 8. I have seen some pictures of people cave tubing with much younger kids. Has anyone taken a tour that is not associated with the cruise line that would allow younger kids? Sammycupcaker Posted April 3, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2012 We are doing VIV tours next month with my 7 y/o. The min height is 40 inches for them. The reason I am paying more to go with them is because my daughter felt more comfortable being clipped next to me and the mesh bottom. They just increased their childs price from $35 to $40 which is already more than the $25 most charge but for the piece of mind seemed well worth it.. melika091900 Posted April 7, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2012 also check with cave-tubing.com there were kids on our tour with them and the tubes are linked together, so its safe and our guides were guiding us in the water the whole time never felt unsafe, and our 11 year old loved it ! China1234 Posted April 14, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2012 Does VIV carry your tubes for you? I know my 7 year old DS would last 5 minutes with carrying the tube and then he would give it to me or my DH to carry.
