Christmas Cruise/Majesty

Considering taking cruise out of Charleston, SC on Dec. 18th. What is a cruise like this time of year. Been on cruises befor, but never at Christmas. What can I expect in general? And on the Majesty. Thanks!!

It's a fun time. We did a panama canal christmas and newyears cruise last year on celebrity infinity. Santa and his Elves did a parade christmas morning around most of the ship ending up in the grand foyer. Gifts (beach towels) were given out to the children. Photos
with santa were taken and it was a great time.
Cookies and refreshments were served at the sames time.

Thes ship had christmas trees, ginger bread houses and decorations all over the ship.
Most religous faiths were coverd as well with
different services being offered.
the main dining room menu on christmas was traditional with all the trimings.

not sure if NCL does exactly the same thing, but
i'm sure it would be just as festive.

we had always wanted to do a holiday cruise and i'm glad we did. it was a little rushed before leaving because gift giving(family not going with us) had to be taken care of before we left

Except for the high cost of holiday sailings, we
would no hesitate to do it again.
