Camp Carnival Hours? Plus a funny....

What are the times for this each day? I anticipate having a little free mom/dad time in the afternoon and evening. Although I do read everyone saying their children BEG to go to CC......we'll see what they want to do.

And I also just amused myself soooo much! I am so glad that I found this board. Last year dh and I cruised on the Conquest alone and all I did was search this board for the best bars in New Orleans and ask who was going to Carlos and Charlies with me....now it's about how much fun the kiddos are going to have in October!

Oh, and I have had to PROMISE them that I cannot be a judge for the hairy chest contest this time! LOLOL. They watched the video of last time and thought that mom was the grossed person ever! ;)

Look forward to reading all your posts!

Hours vary day to day.

On port days, it is open while the ship is in port. If sailaway is around 5 pm, they close for 45 minutes.

On sea days, it is open 9-12, 2-4 or 5, closed for an hour or two, then re-opens always by 7. It is open until 3 am, but there is an hourly fee after 10 pm.

With the exception of the first and last nights, the Camp offers dinner to the children (we didn't do this, so I don't know the details.)

Also, the last sea day, for a couple of hours in the afternoon, there are children's activities (talent show, etc.) that require a parent to be present.

Our kids absolutely loved the experience. Hope yours do too!!

at sea days it seems to be 9-12 then closed 12-2 then open 2-4:45, open again 5:45-10pm.... then babysitting is available for $6 an hour from 10pm-3am

days at sea depend on what time you get into port... I saw some days that said 7am-2pm then closed, BUT if you are on the ship you are expected to have the kids with you... they then open again at some point until 10pm.... the 2pm thing might have only been for babysitting the Under 2 year olds... I think it is actually open the whole time you are in port if your kids are older.

I can not wait!!! My kids better love CC ;)

We'll all be in port together. Trying to look for things to do that they will love (guess we are skipping Carlos/Charlies this year....can't I sit by the door for a YARD? teehee).

They are so excited. I showed them the website of Paradise Beach in Coz and they were bouncing off the walls!

I want some laying out in the sun time in the afternoons; that's my favorite thing to do......dh will hit the casino. :)

Thanks for your thoughts!
