Specialty bar question

So if you are in the a specialty bar like the Martini bar or the Molecular bar, do you have to order a specialty drink?

 

Can you get a drink of the day? wine? beer? soda?

I don't know about drink of the day; however we spent a lot of time at the Martini Bar on the Equinox. I had martinis and DH had absolut and tonic.

The Molecular Bar only sells the specific beverages on the menu. The drinks are very time consuming to make, so the bartenders need to be able to focus on making these special beverages. They also do not stock beverages that are not ingredients in the drinks already on their menu.

 

Most, if not all of the other bars will accommodate beer, wine and soda, including the martini bar. Sometimes you may have a bit of a wait though if what you order is not in stock at that particular bar.
