Bahamas in Winter

Jess .... All depends on how cold of water temperatures you can stand. To me they are way too chilly in Jan/Feb. :o

 

All is not lost! On warm sunny days that time of year it's often very nice to spend time in the sun on the beach. :)

I've been researching this topic myself since I'm looking into doing a Bahamas cruise in January. It's tough to find reliable water temperature data for the Bahamas, but most reports I've seen say that water temps in January hover in the low 70's. That's about the same water temperature as New York and New Jersey beaches in mid summer. Of course, the air temperatures will probably only be a few degrees warmer than the water in the Bahamas in January.
