CaseyCip22 Posted April 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Hey gang, Hubs and I have put down a deposit on the January 14th, 2013 Imagination cruise out of Miami to Key West and Cozumel. A friend of mine's relative is a travel agent, and my friend put together a big group with lots of free booze perks and a whole slew of our friends are going, which is great. The issues is, ever since Honeymooning on NCL in Hawaii, we've become balcony snoots. We LOVE balconies. And our friend's travel agent relative has only offered us insides or Ocean View rooms. I've thought about asking her about upgrading to a balcony, but I don't really know how travel agencies and their groups work. Then I noticed that that ship/cruise doesn't even HAVE standard balcony rooms?? Is that possible. All I saw were the insides, OVs and then Suites. I might ask her for a suite, just because they're so friggin' cheap comparatively, but does anyone have any further details about this ship/cruise as to why they don't have balconies? Thanks!!! cruizin*newbie Posted April 13, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Only the suites have balconies on Imagination.
elcuchio24 Posted April 13, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2012 Older ships just don't have balconies. The suites on imagination are similar to balcony rooms on the newer ships. We did this itin this fall in a Porthole room, which was ok for 4 nights.
