Dot - good to hear from you again. it's been a long time. I'm going to put you on the list even if you aren't sure since for now anyway, everyone is still tentative. We just need to see who's interested. has it been a while since you've been on Carnival or checked their prices? i asked because Carnival has done away with the single supplement. It's my understanding that singles now pay the fare for 2 minus taxes and fees for 1 since there is no 2nd passenger. That kinda stinks. I hope you'll be able to join us though.

We don't have pricing yet. I just emailed Laura yesterday and I know she's very busy. It may be a while before we hear anything but I will let everyone know as soon as we do. It's an 8 night cruise so the deposit will probably be $300.00 pp to choose your cabin. In the past there have been $25.00 deposits for guarantee cabins. I did get a form letter back yesterday after I emailed Laura that said that Carnival no longer does reduced deposits. I do remember hearing that a long time ago yet if you go look at member cruises most of them offered the $25.00 deposits at one time. There's even one that isn't until 2013 that had the $25.00 deposit so until I get an actual quote, I don't know what the initial deposit will be.

Welcome stepha06! The Cupid's is just what we call ourselves because we have always sailed over Valentines Day in the past. this will be the 1st one not over Valentines Day but it's close enough. In fact, I'm sure that many of us will be having dinner together the night before the cruise which is Valentines Day.
