Customs workers on strike

I just saw this article posted on another thread. Will this affect cruises stopping in Nassau?

I read it, not sure I would believe anything from that site except I found the exact same statement on about another dozen or so sites... below is from the Tribune in Nassau, with a lot more explanation.

It has slowed things down, but gov't has put the Defense Force in place to help out management.

 

I would say besides slowing things down in general.. those that are taking on these jobs will do so carefully. Possibly more careful than the agents who do this on a regular basis.

 

This is a political move. Election is in a few weeks..
