Beach Day

Hey everyone,

Our family is getting excited about our cruise to Freeport/Nassau in June! We would like to head to the beach after docking in Nassau. Any suggestions? Kids are teen/pre-teen so need somewhere to do snorkeling etc.

As a couple we have gone on vacation to Paradise Island, anyone know if we could head over there for beach time?

Thanks in advance

We were in Nassau in July. We took the #10 jitney bus to the Radisson Cable Beach resort ($1 pp). Just walked thru the hotel lobby out the back door and onto the beach. We were able to use their lounge chairs on the beach for free. We rented jet skis from the vendor on the beach for $60 per 1/2 hr or $100 per hour. They also had banana boat rides and I think parasailing. Not sure about snorkeling. The hotel has an outside cafe/grill where we had lunch...burgers, salads, sandwiches, etc. It was very nice and we had a great time. There was also a band playing music on the beach. We didn't use their pool, but I beleive we would have been allowed to if we wanted. Hope this helps.
