car rental cozumel/which dock?

We want to rent a car for our day in Cozumel...does anyone know how we can find out which dock/peir the Sensation will use and what rental places will be close to that dock? We've heard it is cheaper to make a reservation early.

The Sensation normally goes to Puerta Maya. Executive Car Rental is at this dock. There may be other, but I can't recall. I do recall that Avis and Budget (and I think Hertz) is over at the International Dock which is between a 5 and 10 minute walk.

This site had rental car info - http://www.cancunmap.com/car_rental_tips.html, as well as, links to car rental sites. The info on this site regarding insurance is a dated since Avis (and I think Budget) have collision insurance with no deductible.

just get off the ship and rent 1 that way,

we reserved 1 before we left, it was at the other pier, and a walking isn't really realistic, then because all ships leave at different times each little port area closes at the time that those shipd leave the pier. well the place where we rented closed at 5 and our ship didn't leave until midnight, when we came back to return the car nobody around it was a nightmare trying ot return that car!!!
