Taxi from Paradise Beach to El Mirador back to ship??

Our Carnival cruise ship will get into port at 1 p.m. and leave at 10 p.m. Do you think it's feasible to spend the afternoon till it closes at 6 p.m. at Paradise Beach and then take a taxi back, making a huge circle to El Mirador Lookout Point and then back to the cruise ship port? If so, how much would the taxi cost? What about the time? Will we make it back before the ship sails?
