Barry Hopkins and Regent Mariner

I heard through the grapevine that Regent has asked the wonderful Cruise Director, Barry Hopkins to do a series of cruises on Mariner from June 16th through July 27th. Has anyone else heard this? If this is true I predict these sailings will sell out fast, if they haven't already. Barry is so beloved and has been with Seabourn for a number of years so it will be nice to see him back 'home' on Regent.

On April 12 there was a post about Barry being on some cruises - it was on the "other" cruise forum that I can't name because of CC rules.

Yes, I have heard that Barry will be back on Regent as a sort of ambassador (and not CD) on certain Mariner cruises from mid-June to late July. It's great that he is fit as a fiddle after his operation of last year. Barry was last on Regent about 5 years ago and will be reuniting with its Pres Mark Conroy.

 

I wish Barry and everyone who will join these voyages the best.
