Ocho Rios tours

I have been checking out other tour companies to go with rather than using Carnival's excursions in Ocho Rios. However...alot of these tour companies are saying they won't accept cruise passengers...you must go thru your cruise ship to book a tour. Does anyone know why this is and how would they even know you were on a cruise if you take a taxi to their location.

 

I am particularly wanting to do the dolphin swim and dunns falls, however, only my 2 kids will do the swim, I just an observer, but with Carnival you have to pay the full $165 whether you do it or not so I was looking for a tour operator.

pretty sure a number of them on here will book anything for you...have you tried Peat Taylor? There are a couple others as well

I am booked with Peat Taylor on my upcoming cruise. Just do a google search for him and it will come right up... I do remember his website offering both of those tours.

I'm not sure which tour companies you are looking at, but when we were in Ocho Rios, there were lots of companies picking up passengers at the cruise port. Take a look at Peat Taylor, the company we used. Their website specifically mentions pick-ups from the cruise port.

I just used http://www.topcaribbeantours.com and used Maxwell Erharuyi as our personal travel guide and had a wonderful experience with him. Tell him Tammie sent you..

i highly recommend Knowjamaicatours. We used them and they do take cruise passengers wherever you want to go and do.

I used Peat Taylor for my cruise in November, I don't know if they do the dolphin swim but I did Dunn River Falls, Blue Hole and beach, I was great his son stayed with the the entire time.
