Spirit Alaska when do they close the Casino & Stores

I'm doing my first Alaska cruise on the Spirit in May. Was wondering when the ship is sailing say in areas as Glacier Bay do they close the Casino & Stores? I thought you needed to be so many miles off shore for the ships to open certain venues on a ship anyone know from experience what happens. Thanks

Isn't that actually part of Alaska? I didn't think the casinos were allowed to be open since its not legal in the state?

I have cruised to Alaska four times as I remember the casino and stores are open when in glacier bay etc. They just close before you go into port. I will be on the Spirit for the short three night cruise from LA to Vancouver can't wait have heard great things about the ship.
