Chigirlcruzin Posted April 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2012 Just rent them on the islands. All beaches should have them available.
Mom2JJandJ Posted April 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2012 It wouldn't necessarily be prohibited, but more of a PITA to take onboard with you. Depends on if you want to lug it around from place to place. As said above, there are umbrellas you can rent on each island. Have a great cruise! Guest LoveMyBoxer Posted April 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2012 Looking for info on bringing a beach umbrella onboard for use on the island beachs. thank you, It is not prohibited. We took one two years ago on the Miracle to use on HMC and Grand Turk. We drive to the port, so no airline issues. There are no umbrellas to rent on HMC or Grand Turk, and we don't like the clam shells which are very stuffy. We actually had people try and buy it from us! DH said we should have bought more and made money ont hem! LOL. The umbrella we have comes in two pieces and goes in an over the should bag for carrying. Would do it again in a minute.
