Carnival Imagination Review

I was in the same ship las year and looking at your pics brought back great memories. I loveeee that ship :D Your review was great.... and so were all the drinkin pictures hahaha. im with ya on that one! Thanks for sharing :)

Looks like you had a great time! Thanks for bringing some back good memories :) We were on this cruise in January. I'm kind of jealous, though, it looks like you had warmer weather than we did for Key West and the sea day.

Thanks for that great review! I sailed on Imagination on January 30th and it was nice to re-live the experience since I didn't take too many onboard pictures. Mongolian Wok...yumm!

And yeah, I totally believe that you slept on Serenity until 4am. Despite officially closing at midnight, on my cruise the Engineering guy didn't come by and kick us out of the hot-tubs until 2am, and I figure if we'd been sleeping in those ultra-comfy loungers, he wouldn't have bothered us at all. :D

Thank you! Your reviews are actually what inspired me to write a review. I loved both of them. I cannot wait for our upcoming cruise. I do have a few questions for you---

 

Was there a hairdryer in the room? Have you guys ever tried using rum runners? And what beach on Freeport would you recommend instead of Our Lucaya (since you said it sucked the last time)?

I want to go to Mr. Sanchos so bad!!! A friend from college just got back and her pictures from there looked amazing. The swings at the bar! That swim-up bar in the pool! Ohhhh I have to go! :)

--Unless you have to go back and forth between the two MDRs, which we had to because of a change in our dining reservation. My 70+ year-old mom got a little frazzled having to change decks each time. :) (There's no through-deck connection between them; the galley takes up the entire width of the ship.)

Another picture from sail-away...

 

After sail-away, we proceeded back to our room to get ready for dinner. We found our first towel animal!

 

 

SOMEHOW when we were getting ready for dinner, my boyfriend managed to poke me in the eye and my eye turned blood red.

Ridiculous! I was injured/intoxicated the first night at dinner, and here's the proof...

 

I didn't take any food porn pictures this time, except for the key-lime pie. Because that's my favorite and that's how I roll.

I order key-lime pie every single night for desert.

 

 

PS- We sat at a table with a bunch of new-cruisers. Everyone absolutely loved the wait staff dancing to "Low".

And I loved this guy--- because he broke it down AND he brought my key-lime pie every night.

 

We had a few more drinks at dinner, and then decided to be lazy and hit the sack.

We had an early parasailing excursion planned for Key West in the morning, and we didn't want to miss our tour.

 

I had this server on my October GirlsCruise. I can't remember his name but we loved him. We had ATD and requested him and got him every night.

 

I've done the Imagination twice, the first time your intinerary and the 2nd one the 3 day Nassau. Its a great ship. Thanks for the memories.
