Cozumel from the Glory

Will be sailing on the Carnival Glory 5/21 and will be in Cozumel on Wed. I was wondering if anyone knew:

 

 

1. How many ships will be in Port that day

2. Based on where we dock - how long by taxi will it take to get to either Paradise Beach or Mr. Sanchos (haven't made my mind up yet).

According to this: http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/Default.aspx?tabid=30 you'll be 1 of only 4 ships in that day. You'll be docking at Puerta Maya pier and it'll take about 10 minutes to get to PB, and 1 minute more to NC.

Is the Puerta Maya pier the one with the shopping area right there next to the dock and duty free shopping center? I was there last year on the Triumph, and really enjoyed just shopping in that area. We went to your beach last year and had a wonderfull time, will prob. return there on the 21st also. Thanks Gina Maben

We'll also be on that ship, and although there are four that day, we are the first in! It looks like from that port we are closer to the beaches but too far to walk to town to shop.

Due to size...Triumph only uses Puerta Maya now. My records show 5 in that day: Fascination, Glory, Elation, Century, and Enchantment.
