martyap Posted April 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Any experience with premium balcony cabins on the Pride. Have a choice of cat 9A - 5241/5243 obstructed or cat 9B - 8235/8237. They show as 230 sq' so they are a little larger than the standard 185 sq' balcs.....any thoughts???
PCHENG Posted April 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2012 There is an existing thread on this topic with pictures. It should be within the first couple pages. I am booked in room 7301 on the Spirit for my Alaska cruise. In a nut shell, the premium balcony is a cross between a regular balcony and a Cat 11 Ocean Suite. It has many of the features of the OS including the marble countertop, recessed lighting, mirror behind the bed, the larger balcony and the crown moldings, but the bathrooom is similar to a regular balcony (no double sink, no tub) and you don't get the VIP embarkation and debarkation.
