MTL=CRUISEFAMILY Posted April 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2012 Wanted some advice on room 5005, forward cabin on the Century. We are worried about rocking and feeling the movement too much. Are used to midship and never had a problem....Any info appreciated
Muushka Posted April 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2012 We had a cabin 1 deck below in 4005. We didn't feel a lot of motion, just a lot of vibrations from the bow thrusters.
c-legs Posted April 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2012 And when she drops anchor as needed....quite the racket....luckily, on the Alaska run, the only such port is Icy Strait and she pulls into anchorage area there around 14;30hrs.... If you're on the Hawai sailings....different story: two tender ports have early morning arrivals.....can't escape the noise. Cheers
